Summer flies away too fast. So why not let summer linger on? Each day we walk for at least half an hour in silence in order to enjoy the fantastic nature. We walk through majestic Skarddøra and continue on paths in luxuriant birch woods, and then continue to where Tydals first Church was built. You will be accompanied by a local, experienced guide Hilde, and will get an insight into the highlands’ ecology, the pilgrimage journey and local history. You will spend both nights at Kirkvollen.

Lør - Pilgrimage Sylsjøen – Stugudalen, 18 km
Søn - Pilgrimage Riastvegen – Kirkvollen, 23 km

Prices and registration
Ordinary price NOK 4,500. Deadline for registration 01.09.2018. For registrations by 15 August: NOK 3,900
The price includes local transport, guiding, three nights in double rooms (shared bathroom), Breakfast three days, three packed lunches, and dinner for three days (two courses each). NOK 1,000 additional charge for single rooms. Drinks are not included.
Minimum 5 and maximum 12 participants.
Kirkvollen is situated about 90 km from Trondheim airport, Værnes. Local bus line 330 om departs from Værnes airport at 15:03 in direction Selbu. Change to bus line 535 in Selbu, which will bring you to Tydal. Return by bus from Kirkvollen in Tydal on Sunday at 18:00.

- Bag for what is not carried during the days walk (being transported between acommo). Maks 2 pieces, each of 15 kilo (remember you have to lift it into a trailer every day).
Bring your daypack and boots for walking tours in advance, so you know that the bag and shoes fits you.

This offer for a pilgrimage includes accomodation, dining and luggage transportation along the way. Throug these walks you will also be part of a Group of pilgrims, who will create their own ambicience along the road, a Dimension often missed along Our paths. Joining us for long walks is a special Challenge and an experience for both New and experienced hikers. It is intended to help partisipants to create an interest in the joy of a pilgrim`s life. Every pilgrim must adhere to the community, and assist everyone else, under the tutelage of a guide and some volunteers. Read more at pilegrimsleden.no.
Before you sign up, we need to be assured thath you are fit enough to walk a distance of 20 km a day for several days in a row. You are responsible for travel and accommodation to Kirkvollen Friday, and from the Kirkvollen on Sunday. Furthermore, we assume that you have signed Your own relevant insuance policies, including travel Insurance and any other personal Insurance that you might require.
Is this a religious walk?
No. The pilgrimage routes are established in the context of religious pilgrimage, but today People walk these paths for many different reasons.
